Pair of decorative French fire-screens France circa 1840.
A very nice multicolour pair of charming fire screens .The lovely flowers on the laque imitated shields are very decorative.
This panels protected the faces of the ladies when they are before the fire-place protecting the make-ups for melting because of the heat.
