MAASTRICHT - TEFAF Maastricht, the world's leading art and antiques fair, launches the TEFAF Mobile Guide, an application for Android and iPhone.
The app was developed to help visitors get the most out of their visit to TEFAF. It offers a virtual tour, videos, an interactive floor plan, an overview of the Fair’s sections, exhibitors and restaurants at the Fair and other information to help them enjoy their visit to Maastricht to the full. TEFAF (The European Fine Art Fair) runs from 18 – 27 March 2011 at the MECC (Maastricht Exhibition and Congress Centre) in Maastricht in the southern Netherlands.
Smartphone owners can use the application to browse the exhibitors list and select their favourite dealers. Videos and pictures will give a glimpse of the different Fair sections. The app also features an interactive floor plan and virtual tour to guide visitors to a selection of interesting objects. “We are thrilled to launch this new application,” said Ben Janssens, Chairman of TEFAF's Executive Committee. “The TEFAF Mobile Guide enables visitors to quickly find their way around the Fair and to access practical information on the spot.” The mobile app, which is active all year round, also provides the latest Fair news, the During TEFAF festival programme, an overview of restaurants in Maastricht and tourist information.
The application was developed by Grrr and 17rabbits. It can be downloaded for free at www.tefaf.com/mobile and from the iTunes AppStore and Android Market.
