Surrounding of Pierre Blondeau. He was a modeler and sculptor for the Sèvres porcelain manufactories, and was highly inspired by drawings after Jean Baptiste Oudry.

Probably sort of French beagle named 'Grand Bleu de Cascogne'
Left a pannier and behind the dogs a tree stump with foliage
The bronze is cast in three separate parts, and with rubbed brown / black patination
On (modern) gilt wood base
