An oak four-door column cabinet with two small doors with a single, richly decorated central panel in the upper cupboard and two larger doors with double, centrally placed panels in the lower cabinet. The cabinet is comprised of three segments- a base cupboard with the drawer and two doors, a top cupboard with two smaller doors and a separate, loose hood on top. The hood’s deeply projected profiled cornice above a high frieze decorated with carvings of stylized foliage and birds flanking and a flower basket.

The design of the cabinet appears to have been inspired by classical architecture. The front features six fluted columns with Corinthian capitals and richly carved plinths framing the panel doors.

Behind the doors inside the lower cabinet a centrally positioned shelf. A richly decorated jamb runs vertically between the panels of both doors. The bottom three columns rest on a profiled, projected rail supported by consoles shaped as lion heads. A drawer between the consoles. The Dutch cabinet is supported by high blackened ball feet.
