Central to the goddess Flora depicted supporting a flower-filled cornucopia and holding a bouquet of flowers in her left hand. It refers to the carefree side of life, and in connection with the great love of flowers under William and Mary.
Flora pictures were very popular on pottery, such as a large number of Tulip Vases with spouts familiar with the same image. This pair of dishes is very special because of its size and beautiful decoration.
