Maes Galerie – Oude Vlaamse Galerij is an independent family-owned gallery run by father and son Rogier and Bart Maes. Since 1977 it is specialized in 19th en 20th century Belgian Art, in combination with a very select offer of Flemish and Dutch 16th to 18th century paintings. A representative selection of paintings, works on paper and sculptures is permanently exhibited in our two premises: the Oude Vlaamse Galerij in Sint-Amands aan de schelde – ca. 20 km from Brussels – and in the Maes Galerie in Knokke at the Belgian coast. Each location can be visited during opening hours and by appointment. Special exhibitions are organized on a regular basis and participation in art and antique fairs is frequent.
