These two very wide armchairs are made in a classical Louis XV style, with good proportions and delicate curvature of the legs and armrests so typical for the 1750 period. The woodwork is delicately decorated with carved flowers and vines that are different on each of the chairs.

Henri Amand was registered by the Parisian ébéniste guild on november 17. 1749. He died in 1756 or 1757.
