A very rare pendule "Au Bon Sauvage" symbolising the man filling the drum with (possibly) coffee beans. Circa 1800.

These pendule clocks from this short "directoire" period are very much in demand and collectable. The 8-day striking silk thread suspension movement signed "Blanc Fils Palais Royale"
