The beautiful burr-walnut case, with a partly ebonised plinth, mounted on four small ball feet.

The ‘eight-day timepiece’ movement with an early cylinder escapement, the white enamel dial, signed Chancellors & Son Paris. Elegant ‘brequet’ hands and Roman numbers.
