An impressive French mantel clock with a pair of covered vases decorated with classical scenes and applied with griffins on the bases. The dial of the mantel clock is flanked by caryatides with wings holding a garland. The mantel clock is surmounted by a bird resting on foliage. 8-day going movement with half hour striking. Chapter ring with Roman numerals.
