A patinated bronze guéridon with a top of yellow Siena marble with profiled edging.
The table rests on a baluster-shaped leg rising from a tripartite base on castors.
The three volute-shaped legs of the base rest on rosettes above the wheels. Rosettes also adorn the lower ends of the fluted legs. The top of the base is exquisitely decorated with various foliate carvings, including motifs of palm leaves and a marvellously curled acanthus. The central baluster is attached to the tripod with a hollow, profiled edging, above which a round with palmettes.
The lower end of the baluster leg is decorated with curled foliate edging. Decorated at the top by profiled edging and a band of rosettes. The baluster ends in more profiled edging and is closed at the top with fruitwood.The round frieze, upon which the marble top rests, is decorated with circular rosettes flanked by motifs of bay leaves and berries, alternated with small rosettes.
