  • Made in Italy by Ricaf for Paco Rabanne
  • Constructed entirely of a chain mail of faux-tortoiseshell plastic discs linked in alternating rows of metallic gold plate rings
  • The flap fastens at the centre front with a hinged gold-tone metal clasp and a circular domed loop
  • Label, metal tag attached at inside centre back, printed white on black: paco rabanne - paris / PRODUCTION / RICAF - Italy / Modél Deposée
  • The long handle is a continuous chain of the same discs
         A similar bag is presented in the NGV National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne in the International Fashion and Textiles department
