A pair of terracotta ‘putti’ sculptures signed by Mathieu de Tombay (1768 - 1852). He worked during the revolution in The Netherlands and Hamburg, was a famous sculpture maker for castles and churches, also in the Liege region.
 
One of the figures is signed 1837.
