Description
Impressive early 17th century classic english striking lantern clock with reconstructed balance wheel escarpment, circa 1640. Bearing the name "Peter Closon, Hoborn Bridge". The classic model with bell cross and bell on top, mounted with classical vase form finals. Hoop and spike to hang on the wall. The lovely engraved dial and frets, heavy doors on the sides.
