A good well figured Empire burr walnut 4 pillar table regulator signed "Jn, Jh Hanset a Bruxelles" circa 1820 with beautiful bronze mounts. The high-quality central sweep second movement with "coupe/perdu" escapement and calendar work together with heavy compensated knife edge suspension pendulum.
Hanset was clockmaker to the Belgium court. The clock is still in lovely untouched condition.
