arched brass dial with silvered engraved chapter ring signed William Upjohn Exon, blued hands and finely pierced gilt mask spandrels, foliate engraved centre with subsidiary seconds and date aperture, lovely moonphase in the arch with tide indication; High Water At Topsham Bay, 8-day movement with anchor escapement and rack hour striking on a bell, case with well figured walnut and lovely old patina, moulded break arck hood with glazed door flanked by columns with brass capitals and bases, long break arch door flanked by fluted canted sides, square base with panel raised on bracket feet.
