Beautiful large antique French 19th century Louis Philippe style period gilded mirror with detailed grape and vines motif cartouche. The border is carved with blossoms and hanging fruits, probably plums, in relief.

The mirror frame has a charming slightly shabby finish. It is in good condition with some little chipping/cracking consistent with age and use, two small plum ornaments missing.

The looking glass is original silver nitrate glass and has a delightful sparkle and distressed worn patches, this is all part of the mirrors authentic look, giving this mirror extra charm.
