Description

A fine Charles X rosewood and satinwood inlaid table and music stand. Adjustable in height and with a top that folds open to reveal a reading or music stand with adjustable supports.
Measurements: height adjustable from 78.5 to 104.5 cms. Table top: 37.5 x 29 cms (when closed); 75 x 29 cms (when open). The short reign of French King Charles X (1824-1830) saw an impressive production of furniture, often in rosewood, beautifully inlaid with lemon- or satinwood.
