An impressive Dutch burr walnut musical Amsterdam longcase clock, signed Johannes Coelombie Haerlem, circa 1750. The arched dial incorporates a calendar, moon phase and subsidiary indications. Its eight-day weight-driven movement strikes the Dutch half hours and plays one of twelve melodies on a nest of bells. The richly figured case has a bombé base and is surmounted by Atlas and two Victories.
