Grand Tour souvenir in patinated bronze after Michelangelo's famous statue of Lorenzo de' Medici in the Sagrestia Nuova of the San Lorenzo Basilica in Florence. Cast in the workshops of French bronze caster Ferdinand Barbedienne (signature on left side of base). On a small wooden plinth (about 1cm high) of recent date. 55cm high including plinth.
