Description

Ornamental fanlight in oak. These beautiful carved fanlights can be found above the front door of many Dutch (canal) houses. Depicted is the judgment of Paris: Paris is on his knees and offers the apple; with carved acanthus leaves and rosettes, each of the four rosettes being different in detail. The relief is now painted in a white paint with red underlayer.
