The clock features the name "Aime Ducomann a la Chaud du Fonds"on the dial and was made in Switzerland. It is housed in a magnificent, unusual gilded case featuring two arches and a handle for easy portability, and is powered by an 8-day striking movement with an anchor escapement. The clock also has an alarm and pulls a repeat function. The beautiful case is nicely decorated with typical Empire bronze and unusual claw feet at the bottom.
