Description
Amazing good looking Louis XV pair of high quality 18th century andirons with lovely detailed cupido’s warming symbolic their hands before the fireplace. The so-called Crown stamps in the bronzes are tax stamps used from approximately 1742 until 1745 mucht sought after by collectors. The original gilding and subject also makes it very romantic.
