A very nice and good fantastic charming provincial striking French 18th century Lantern clock.The strking 2 train weight driven movement on bell with countwheel with verge escapement.The extremely beautiful primitive engraved folk art dial has a great look.On top of the dial a lovely fred with also fantastic engravings.The posted frame movement with verge escapement Silk threat suspension with a powerfull strong looking pendulum bob. Lovely doors with nicely made locking screw buttons .
This clock has the perfect provincial folk-art look and therefore in great demand by collectors.
