An 8-day weight driven pillar movement with verge escapement, count wheel half hour striking and alarm on a bell, ormolu dial and brass case, on a later bracket.
 
An 32.5-cm ornate ormolu dial with blue Roman cartouche numerals, centre signed "Lefebure Hologer du Roi" A Fontainebleau surmounted by a pierced ormolu cresting with a sunburst and cockerels, shaped blued hands, 8-day weight driven brass posted movement with verge escapement and silk suspended pendulum, count wheel half hour striking with strike/silent on a surmounted bell, alarm on the same bell, brass frame with well turned finials and feet, brass doors to the sides, placed on a later stained wood bracket.
