Description
A good looking strong, ‘coach watch’ with dial, signed Festeau.
The fantastic rose gilded case is of a very high quality.
The complicated ‘grande sonnerie’ striking repeating movement with alarm on bells. The movement with balance wheel escapement, nice steel hands. The white enamel dial with Roman numbers for the hours and Arabic numbers for the minutes. At the base of the handle, a mechanism to active or silence the striking mechanism.
On the rear is a lovely engraving of a landscape.
