enamel dial with Roman numerals and fine gilt and ebngraved hands, subsidary for date and day of the week below and moon phase above, the whole with a fine blue enamel surround with gilt applied stars signed G.(aston) Joly à Paris, raised on two arched supports with two flanking ormolu merman with trumpets, mounted on marble bases on a rectangular white marble plinth with applied ormolu mounts raised on toupee feet, movement with 8-day duration and countwheel half hour striking on a bell, silk suspended pendulum with sunburst bob, supplied with a custom made glass dome and parcel gilt base.
