An important historical ‘Bourgemeister’ armchair from the townhall of The Hague, city of the international court of justice and the peace palace, circa 1880. Lovely cresting on the top of the back displaying the symbol of the city, ‘the Stork’. This chair was in function for the Lord Mayor of the Hague until 1990.
