A very unusual and impressive, probably Italian, 18th century quarter striking lantern clock signed "Joseph Federmeyer 1786".
The beautiful posted frame and the beautiful craftsmanship from the blacksmith making the wheels are amazing. The movement has an verge escapement.
The bells on top give the clock a great look. The clock is completely untouched and original.
