36.5-cm brass dial with polychrome flower surround and foliate engraved centre, engraved silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and foliate pierced hands, apertures for date, day, month and moonphase, subsidiaries for seconds, slaan/niet slaan, spelen/niet spelen and tune selection.. 8 dag anchor movement, Dutch striking on two on alternating bells, 26.5-cm cylinder playing one of ten tunes with 25 hammers on twelve bells. A burr walnut veneered case with bell top, foliate pierced frets above and below the shaped carved corners, break arch glazed door with brass capped side columns, canted trunk, long chequered inlaid shaped door with carved ornament and Chronos lenticle, moulded base with similar inlay and curbed knees over canted corners raised on claw feet.
