Renaissance Eisenuhr,polychrome Renaissance  iron wall clock, with balance. Circa 1650, South Germany.
This polychrome iron wall clock with two weight-driven movement, with iron gears, has a verge escapement with a horizontal balance (reconstructed).
The striking mechanism, regulated by a count wheel, indicates the hours fully on a bell.
Wall clock with decorative polychrome paintings, on both sides a bouquet of flowers in a vase.  A very attractive antique clock from the 17th century.
