This beautiful well figured tortoise shell French mantel clock with hour and half hour striking movement verge escapement with cycloid arches, the beautiful dial with an attractive ornament signed "P. Royer a Paris". Silvered chaptering and very nice pierced gilt hands, circa 1680.
