This magnificent Late Louis XIV Régence floor-standing striking weight-driven French wall regulator, circa 1720, is signed by N Delaunay à Paris.

The beautiful gilded dial features lovely blue and white enamel cartouches, along with a section for the seconds, complemented by blue steel hands and a nice decorative signature section. On top of the clock sits a well-proportioned, realistic gilded bronze eagle.

The elegant, ebonized Regence case is decorated with beautifully detailed bronzes.

The clock stands at a height of 244 cm, with a width of 44 cm and a depth of 26 cm
