This bronze is well cast and in a great condition with a beautiful patina.
The bear looks over his shoulder while climbing a tree on a stepped square marble base.
Anton Bushelberger (Germany 1869-1934) studied painting at the academy of arts in Munchen and then set up a studio in Dresden as a sculptor of animals .
