Nr. 120. A gothic iron clock with foliot, South Germany, dated 1607.
An early 17th Century wall clock with polychrome painted dial. Three weight driven movement, verge escapement and foliot with weights which might be adjustable at either end (speed adjustment). Hour and quarter hand. Striking on a two bells HWD ca 45x16x17 (without bracket) cm. Literature: “Eine Sammlung alter Uhren”, Fridolin Staub. Price on request.
