This unusual silvered clock was a very popular model in the Louis XVI period.
The model is typical Osmond and the case is signed Osmond.
The 8 day striking movement with silk threat suspension and beautiful pierced hands.
Many of these clocks are gilded, but this one is quite unusual with the silvered case probably made in order.
The birds on top are a very popular design.
