Description

A subminiature Swiss Art Deco travel clock, circa 1930, in a square silver case with translucent green enamel over a guilloché ground. White enamel borders frame the green panels, including the enamelled back door. A rectangular white-enamel handle and ball feet complete the geometric design. The original presentation case accompanies the clock.

The 1.2-cm enamel dial has Arabic numerals and blued-steel spade hands. The spring-driven movement runs for eight days and is regulated by a bimetallic balance with Swiss lever escapement.
