Description

A subminiature Swiss silver and enamel travel clock, circa 1925. The rectangular sterling silver case has blue enamel panels with silver banding and a Shou symbol for longevity beneath the dial. The 1.8-cm dial has Art Deco Arabic numerals and blued Breguet hands. The spring-driven movement has fixed winding, Swiss lever escapement and a bimetallic balance, and is marked Swiss made, 2 adjustments and 15 jewels. The hinged back is geometrically engraved, and the clock stands on bun feet. With its original display case. Height 4.5 cm; width 2.7 cm; depth 2 cm.
