Description

8.5-cm enamel dial with Roman numerals and inner red date marking, foliate pierced and engraved brass hands and steel date pointer, 8-day spring driven movement with platform lever escapement marked JED, countwheel half hour striking on a bell surmounting the brass case with lobed handle and urn corner finials, break arch cresting with applied acanthus leaf mount, a further oak leaf and garland mount below, glass sides and back door signed Eug. Bazart Paris, the whole raised on toupee feet.
